Ballet Chicago has partnered with DanceApply to make the audition registration process simple and seamless.
ANNUAL PROGRAMS
Free Trial Class (3 - 7 yrs)
Auditions are not required for students 7 years and younger. This includes all Preparatory Division levels and Ballet 1 of the Student Division.
Students 7 years and younger are welcome to schedule a free trial class. Please use the link below to access our registration page. To schedule a trial class, please select the "Drop-In" registration option and add your dancer to the waitlist.
Audition (8 yrs +)

Please keep the video simple and ensure you are the only person featured in the video. The video is intended to showcase your class work, not a choreographic exercise. If you have a performance video, you are welcome to submit it along with the audition video.

The full video should be no more than 15-20 minutes in length.
In-Class or Zoom Audition (8 yrs +)
Auditions are required for students 8 years and older. Please email School Administrator Emma Kapteyn using the link below. Please include the following information in your email:

Previous Dance Experience, if any
IN-CLASS AUDITION
Dancers can also schedule an audition class at Ballet Chicago. Please bring printed copies of a headshot and a photo in 1st arabesque (no larger than 5x7 inches).
