Ballet Chicago has partnered with DanceApply to make the audition registration process simple and seamless.
SUMMER PROGRAMS
Video Auditions: $30 Audition Fee

Video auditions are available to students who are unable to attend in person. Click below to fill out the online audition application through DanceApply. You will need to upload a photo in first arabesque and a headshot
(school photos acceptable).
In-class Audition: $30 Audition Fee
​
In-class auditions are also available to students who are unable to attend one of our National Audition Tour dates. Students will be required to fill out an audition application upon arrival. Please bring a hard copy of a photo in first arabesque and a headshot (school photos acceptable). Dimensions for each photo must be smaller than 5" x 7". Cash or check is accepted for the $40 registration fee (made out to Ballet Chicago).
ANNUAL PROGRAMS
Free Trial Class (3 - 7 yrs)
Auditions are not required for students 7 years and younger. This includes all Preparatory Division levels and Ballet 1A.
Students 7 years and younger are welcome to schedule a free trial class.
Audition (8 yrs +)

Please keep the video simple and ensure you are the only person featured in the video. The video is intended to showcase your class work, not a choreographic exercise. If you have a performance video, you are welcome to submit it along with the audition video.

The full video should be no more than 15-20 minutes in length.
In-Class Audition (8 yrs +)
Auditions are required for students 8 years and older. Please fill out the Google Form below to submit your application.
IN-CLASS AUDITION
Dancers can also schedule an audition class at Ballet Chicago. Please bring printed copies of a headshot and a photo in 1st arabesque (no larger than 5x7 inches).
