Student Division

The Student Division consists of Levels 1-5. The curriculum for each level is carefully structured to provide students with a strong ballet foundation. All classes are conducted by teachers experienced in ballet instruction for young dancers and are taught with live piano accompaniment. Advancement from level-to-level is based on an assessment of the dancer’s technical ability, physical aptitude, strength, and effort. Our Student Division dancers have three performance opportunities each year. These opportunities build confidence, promote teamwork, and provide benchmarks for each child's progress.

Ballet Chicago's annual Nutcracker performance (December)
Annual School Performances (May)
Opportunity to perform in Ballet Chicago's Annual Balanchine + Beyond Spring Series (May)
