Vaccination and Mask Policy
Ballet Chicago does not require that applicants be vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of their audition. However, our National Audition Tour host facilities may have vaccination requirements for visitors that auditioning students will need to abide by.
No vaccination is required at this time to attend the 2023 Summer Programs.
Masks will be required at the Ballet Chicago studios through January 16. After this time, masks are not required but are recommended.

Students who pre-register online save $5 off of their audition fee. Online pre-registration is strongly recommended.
To pre-register, follow the link below and prepare to:
- Fill in the Online Audition Application.
- Upload a photo in first arabesque and a head shot. School photos are acceptable.
- Pay $30 by credit or debit card.
Online pre-registration will close 24 hours prior to each audition.
To register in person the day of an audition, you must:
- Complete an Audition Application onsite.
- Pay $35 by cash or check (made out to Ballet Chicago) onsite.
- Submit hard copies of a photo in first arabesque and a head shot. School photos are acceptable. Dimensions must be smaller than 5"x7" for each photo.
Video Auditions are available to those who cannot attend in person.
To register and submit a video audition, follow the link below and prepare to:
- Fill in the Online Audition Application.
- Submit a video link.
- Upload a photo in first arabesque and a head shot. School photos are acceptable.
- Pay $40 by credit or debit card.
In-Class Auditions are available to those who cannot attend a Ballet Chicago Audition Tour date and would rather audition in person than by video.
To schedule and register for an In-Class Audition, follow the link below and prepare to:
- Email School Registrar, Krystle Simmons and request an In-Class Audition.
- Complete an Audition Application onsite.
- Pay $35 by cash or check (made out to Ballet Chicago) onsite.
- Submit hard copies of a photo in first arabesque and a head shot. School photos are acceptable. Dimensions must be smaller than 5"x7" for each photo.
