HENRIETTE MUUS

Henriette Muus is a former soloist of the Royal Danish Ballet known for her flair of the emotional dimension of dancing. Muus’ solo performance credits include Juliet in John Neumeier’s Romeo and Juliet, Svanilda in Coppélia, and Olga in Onegin.

 

Muus’ grace and musical phrasings made her an exemplary Bournonville dancer and she has worked to carry on the tradition of August Bournonville to new generations since 1998, when she became a coach at The Royal Danish Ballet School. Ms. Muus teaches the female students from the 5th and 6th grade and coaches Kompagni B.

 

In 1999 Ms. Muus was one of the people behind a new touring Bournonville group and she has held lecture demonstrations and masterclasses in Bournonville all over the world
