I. Audition Tour
Admission to the Summer Course and Advanced Intensive programs is by audition only. Faculty members from the School of Ballet Chicago conduct audition classes during the months of January and February. If you are unable to attend a scheduled audition, you may audition by appointment or send an audition video.
The National Audition Tour visits the following locations.

Please bring to the on-site auditions:
- $25.00 audition fee (if you did not pre-register)
- Headshot (school photo acceptable / no larger than 5" x 7")
- Photo in first arabesque (no larger than 5"x7")
II. Audition Fees
An audition fee of $25.00 (cash, check or money order) payable to the School of Ballet Chicago is required at the time of the audition. Online pre-registrations for the audition tour have a discounted fee of $20.00. For video auditions, the fee is $35.00. All audition fees are non-refundable. Please bring a photo in first arabesque (no larger than 5" x 7") and a headshot (school photo acceptable / no larger than 5" x 7").
III. Photo Requirements
Please bring a photo in first arabesque and a headshot (school photo acceptable) to the audition. Photos need to be no larger than 5" x 7".
Notification of the audition results will be sent via e-mail to applicants within two weeks of their audition date. If you have not received your notification after two weeks, please notify Summer Program Administrator, Carolyn Spector at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 312-251-8838. Audition results will not be given over the telephone.
|Summer Course fees:
Housing: $2,500 (+ $250 activity fee)
|Advanced Intensive fees:
Housing: $1,100 (+ $100 activity fee)

Scholarships, either full or partial, are awarded on a case-by-case basis. Scholarships are available for tuition only.
