Summer Program Activities

Performances and Sight Seeing:
  • A Broadway in Chicago musicl production
  • The Pritzker Pavillion Summer Concert Series
  • A Chicago Cubs baseball game at the historic Wrigley Field
  • The Lincoln Park Zoo
  • Museum Visits - Chicago is home to some of the world's best museums, The Art Institute, The Field Museum, The Shedd Aquarium, The Adler Planetarium, and the Museum of Science and Industry, to name just a few. Each summer we plan at least one museum trip. Past highlights have been experiencing the white dolphins, sea lions, beluga whales and sea otters at the Shedd Aquarium, seeing up close Sue, the T Rex at the Field museum, and the Art Institute Miniature Rooms.
  • A private chartered Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co. city sightseeing tour
  • A visit to one of Chicago's breathtaking beaches on the shores of Lake Michigan
  • A scenic firework Chicago Line Cruises boat trip celebrating the 4th of July
Resident Hall Events:
  • Ice Cream Social
  • Pizza Party
  • Movie Nights
  • Door Decorating Contest
  • Talent Contest
  • Shirt Tie-Die Night
  • End of Summer Dance Party
These activities and/or ones similar will be posted along with dates and times in the summer section of the website, which dancers will gain access to upon admittance to the summer program.

All group outings are chaperoned by Ballet Chicago dorm resident chaperones. Students who are not in the dorms will have the opportunity to buy individual event tickets, space permitting.

Summer Course Activity Fee: $250
Advanced Intensive Activity Fee: $100
